Greetings UN nations of Hippiedom:
As the nation charged with UN Delegate protection and other matters related to UN nations in Hippiedom, I make this post because the nation of Warren Wilsonia, a long time native of Hippiedom has called for a new UN Delegate election. The last election took place after the original UN delegate (United Action Front) served 100 days. Technically the mods deleted the United Action Front and about 40 other Hippiedom nations before the election was completed, but enough votes had been cast to make Peyotes the clear winner).
As we are again at the 100 day point Hard Line Commies has authorized me to approve an election. In Hippiedom the UN delegate deals with UN matters, and, in consultation with the Founder, is involved in diplomacy with other regions. Although the founder maintains regional control the UN delegate, as the regions elected official is occasionally consulted and is an influential adviser whose advice Hard Line Commies takes seriously.
To qualify to vote or be elected UN Delegate, a nation must have UN membership, and been a native of Hippiedom for a sufficient period. A newly arrived nation, or nation who becomes delegate with disqualifying non-native votes will not be permitted to become the Delegate.
The way the election works as follows: nations may endorse whatever nations they desire. They may vote for more then one nation if they choose. The qualified nation with the most votes will win. Nations may also withdraw their vote from Peyotes if they choose. The election will be over July 25. On that date the nation with the most votes will be declared the winner, and all UN nations will be expected to endorse that nation. Any nation running should have a strong interest in NS UN affairs.
