A few simple things you can do to help Hippiedom Flourish
An active message board is the heart of a region, do your part to make others feel welcome and keep the region interesting.
1. Post a message welcoming newly arrived nations to Hippiedom.
2. Post a message expressing an idea on an issue you care about. It can be politics, environment, music movies, books, anything, comments about the game or latest WA proposal. Just about anything except racist or hateful speech is acceptable.
3. Respond to comments others post. It's important that those who post not feel ignored. A breif response is just common courtesy, and if people co it regularly dialogue will emerge.
Use your W.A. status!
If you are not a member of the World Assembly consider joining it. If you are a member there are several things you can do to help Hippiedom.
4. Endorse the W.A. Delegate. Here's why:
In Hippiedom the Delegate acts as the president and main protector of the region. Hippiedom is now a founderless region this means we are vulnerable to being raided. So the more nations we have in the World Assembly and the more endorse the WA Delegate has the safer and better off we are. If you don't want your main nation to join the WA, consider using a secondary puppet nation.
Since the Delegate gets one vote in the World Assembly for each endorsement he or she receives endorsing Hippiedoms W.A. Delegate increases the extent to which Hippiedom can effect the outcome of votes on W.A. resolutions. Since Nation States tilts to the right politically, increasing the W.A. delegate vote on close issues can make a big difference.
5. Please be respectful of the endorsement cap. Here's why:
Since the lost of the founder in order to maintain stability and prevent potential raids we ask for residents to be mindful of the number of endorsements they have and their neighbors. It's a safeguard against attacks, in other words. Essentially, this cap prevents someone from surpassing the WA Delegate, removing our forum links from the World Factbook Entry, decreasing the effectiveness of the region, and banning / ejecting innocent nations from the region. We ask senior members to keep their endorsements round 75% of the WA delegate's, and for newer members to keep their endorsements around 40%. Nations of concern will receive multiple telegrams before action will be taken, we encourage fellow WA nations to keep an eye out and make sure they don't over-endorse anyone.

You may have noticed the "Regional Influence" rating on the right hand side of your nations description. These ratings generally relate to the amount of influence your nation has within the region. The higher the rating is the better you are able to protect Hippiedom in the event of an invasion and the more difficult it becomes for an invading W.A. delegate to remove your nation from the region.
For the most part the Regional Influence" rating is determined by the amount of time your nation spends in a region. Activity, such as posting of messages also enhances your Regional Influence rating, but for nations that are members of the W.A. aquiring endorsements from other W.A. nations can also enhance Regional Influence. So by endorsing other W.A. nations you not only contribute to the protection of Hippiedom, you increase the Influence of the nation you endorse.
But endorsing other W.A. nations in the region also contributes to Hippiedoms influence in NS. The Regional Power rating that appears is based on the some total of the Regional Influence ratings held by the individual nations in the region. We would like it, at minimum to stay at "High" and hope it one day increases beyond that.
After all, in a cannabis based region isn't it important the region be High?
Because endorsing another W.A. is a good way to show support for the nations flag, national motto, nation name, or the postings they make on the message board we do ask you to endorse any nations whose policies you like.
7. Recruiting is vital in any region, and Hippiedom needs your help to keep it healthy and growing! Going through the feeders (The Pacific(s), Lazarus, Osiris & Balder) and posting a message on their regional message boards can be highly effective. Additionally sending recruiting telegrams to newly founded and refounded in the feeders is another effective method. When recruiting you will have more success if you seek out leftest nations. Any nations with cool colorful flag, or 60s theme or music, basically any Hippy you see! You know the kind of nations we are!
